Challenges can be overwhelming to handle alone. Having support and guidance can be valuable in building a foundation for strength and healing for a family, a couple or an individual. I have learned that families are constantly impacted by challenges and their ability to successfully communicate and resolve conflicts effectively could significantly influence present and future generations. Some of the strongest people I know are the ones who pursue assistance because they want their relationships to be even better. I strive to empower individuals, couples and families to create and achieve goals they want in their lives – whether its resolving conflict, dealing with loss of loved one through death or divorce, sudden or expected life transitions, or chronic illness. I work to align with my clients to build a safe place to communicate, work through issues, and find a way to connect better in order to thrive and restore balance in their lives and in their systems.

I have been trained in Systems Theory and therefore explore the systems of the clients I work with to better understand and then design treatment plans that catered to their specific needs and goals. I help the individual work with building a stronger sense of self-awareness and coping skills within their system, with marriages and families I facilitate discussion to build stronger bonds and identify detrimental communication patterns in order to work toward effective conflict resolution and relationship healing. I help caregivers prepare for changes within their roles and with their loved one and help prepare families for life transitions. I have done extensive worked in outpatient, community, private and church settings. I utilize therapeutic tools from Solution-Focused, Structural, Brief Strategic, Cognitive Behavioral, Emotionally-Focused, Multi-generational, and Faith-based (by request).
