I have extensive history working primarily with children, adolescents and families. I strive to make the therapeutic environment a safe space for my clients to help them feel comfortable in this type of setting. I will support and encourage you while teaching you the necessary skills to be able to manage and regulate your emotions effectively. I believe that building rapport to establish a positive therapeutic working relationship with each of my clients to ensure emotional and behavioral stability is met. I will encourage and support my clients to become more independent when utilizing the therapeutic skills being taught to be successful outside of therapy.

I have vast knowledge in working with and supporting those clients on the Autism Spectrum and can provide insight and education on the different interventions to help them thrive in their own environment. I have worked in several different areas within the mental health field throughout my career, including therapeutic day school, residential treatment centers, crisis intervention, community mental health agencies and currently school social work. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and strength based therapy approach, as well family mediation.
