I believe that you know yourself better than anyone and that a trusting and secure partnership between client and therapist is essential to successfully reaching your treatment goals. I strive to create this collaborative relationship with you and to provide you with the tools, support, and education necessary to overcome obstacles in your life. We can work together to help you change relationships, negative outlook, or behavior patterns that are holding you back from feeling fulfilled or happy.
I have experience working with children and families in crisis as well as with children and adults in a variety of settings including inpatient, forensic, and intensive outpatient settings. I have a special interest in working with older children, adolescents and adults.
I have specialized training in motivational interviewing, harm-reduction, equine-assisted therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. My style includes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, client-centered, and education. Areas of treatment include women’s wellness, adolescent issues, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relations, and stress management.
