I am a caring, compassionate, and approachable therapist. I work from a collaborative and strength-based approach utilizing a variety of techniques including cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, mood management, and anxiety reduction.
I have been a therapist for over 15 years and absolutely love what I do. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My educational background includes a Master of Art in Community Counseling and a Bachelors in Social Work. I have a passion working with adults and adolescents with addiction and mental health issues. I pride myself in effectively working with children, adults, and families presenting with a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, and other symptoms.
I have worked in a variety of settings including a behavioral health hospital, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric care/detox as well as substance abuse residential care.
